Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is requesting bids to establish a purchase order for the procurement of vector cotton bale tie wires and blue polypropylene bale bags. Bidders must comply with all rules, regulations, and statutes relating to purchasing in the State of Texas. The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. The factors considered in making an award include prices, bidder's previous record of performance and service, quality and specifications, and any other best value factors.
• The bid must be submitted on the provided form and must include the Texas Identification Number System (T.I.N.S.) number, full firm name, and address of the bidder.
• The bid prices are requested to be firm for 30 days from the bid opening date.
• The delivery shall be made during normal working hours only, unless prior approval has been obtained from the TDCJ.
• The awarded vendor agrees not to refer to awards in commercial advertising in such a manner as to state or imply that the product or service provided is endorsed or preferred by the TDCJ.
• The contract may be terminated if the vendor fails to comply with the requirements of the contract.
