CDBG Road Rehabilitation Project 2026

The City of Colfax is seeking bids for the CDBG Road Rehabilitation Project 2026. The project involves the rehabilitation of roads in the city, and the contractor will be responsible for completing the work in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. The project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and the contractor must comply with the regulations in 24 CFR part 75. The contractor must also include the Section 3 clause in every subcontract subject to compliance with regulations in 24 CFR part 75. • The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. • The contractor must provide employment and training opportunities to low- and very low-income persons, particularly those who are recipients of government assistance for housing or residents of the community in which the Federal assistance is spent. • The contractor must also provide contracting opportunities to business concerns that provide economic opportunities to low- and very low-income persons. • The project requires the contractor to submit various forms and documents, including the Business Enterprise Information Form, Form 1-Assessment and Certifications, Form 2-List of Permanent Employees, and Form 3-Documentation of Qualitative Efforts. • The contractor must also comply with the Build America, Buy America Act, and all applicable rules and notices.
