Street Sweeping Services

The County of Hernando, Florida, is soliciting bids for street sweeping services. The contract will be for a term of three years, with a renewal option for two additional one-year periods at the same prices, terms, and conditions. The bidder must provide all equipment, labor, tools, fuel, insurance, supervision, licenses, permits, fees, materials, and all other items incidental thereto, including traffic control and maintenance, to accomplish the street sweeping services described in the specifications. The bidder must also submit a list of equipment and facilities available to do the work, a list of personnel contemplated to perform the work, and references for substantially similar work performed within the past seven years. • The contract will be awarded to a responsive, responsible bidder, qualified by experience to provide the work. • The bidder must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations. • The bidder must obtain all permits required for the work. • The bidder must provide a certificate of insurance and any other documents required by the contract. • The bidder must not commence work until it has delivered to the County a current certificate of insurance and any other documents required by the contract.
