Description
The California Department of Technology, Office of Statewide Technology Procurement (OSTP) is seeking industry feedback on the attached pre-solicitation documents for the CALNET Managed Cybersecurity Services IFB. Interested parties should review all of the attached documents and submit all feedback to the Procurement Officer by February 23, 2026. The State is seeking vendor feedback related to identification of requirements that are too restrictive, areas of ambiguity or inconsistencies within the documents, assumptions vendors will make when preparing an IFB response, and items the State should consider that are not included in these documents.
• The pre-solicitation documents include Exhibit B: CALNET Managed Cybersecurity Services SOW Business Requirements, Exhibit C: CALNET Managed Cybersecurity Services SOW Technical Requirements, Exhibit D: CALNET Managed Cybersecurity Services SOW Catalog A, and Exhibit F: SOW Glossary.
• The State may request confidential discussions with vendors.
• Submitting feedback for this Pre-Solicitation is not required in order to participate in the anticipated IFB that may follow.
• Although providing feedback is important and strongly encouraged, the State makes no commitment to make changes based on the feedback it receives.
