Notice of Intent to Sole Source to CRH CALIFORNIA WATER, INC.

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a sole source contract to CRH CALIFORNIA WATER, INC. for the service of portable exchange soft water tanks at Warner Springs Sere Camp. The requirement is for Commander Navy Region Southwest, and services are currently provided by CRH CALIFORNIA WATER, INC. utilizing existing equipment. The service includes delivering and exchanging rental soft water conditioning filtration cylinders that are hooked up to an existing proprietary water filtration/softener system. • The cylinders are used to break down calcium buildup in the galley equipment. • Deliver and exchange ten (10) each rental cylinders every 14 days, (20) each per month. • The cylinders are 9” diameter and 42” tall. • The applicable NAICS code is 561990, although the document also mentions 516120.
