Dakota County is seeking one or more qualified contractors to provide comprehensive cash‑in‑transit (CIT) armored‑car services and/or smart‑safe cash‑management solutions for its library system, government centers, and park locations. The contract will cover collection of cash, checks, and other financial documents from designated sites, delivery to the county’s banking partner, and optional installation and support of smart‑safe equipment. The base term is three years with a possible two‑year renewal, and the contractor must meet Minnesota licensing, bonding, insurance, and security standards.
• Provide weekly CIT pickups (or bi‑weekly where specified) and next‑day delivery to Wells Fargo Cash Vault.
• Install, lease or rent smart‑safe units at each library, supply all required supplies, and offer remote/on‑site technical support.
• Supply all manifests, deposit bags, and cash‑vault services at no cost to the County; meet strict pickup‑delivery time‑frames and credit the County for missed pickups not caused by the County.
