Description
The City of Grants Pass is soliciting sealed written Requests for Expressions of Interest proposals to identify feasible and potential uses for the Reed Building / Caretaker’s Cottage structure in Riverside Park. Respondents to this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) will submit a proposal detailing how the building would be used and any anticipated changes to the site within and immediately around the building. The City seeks expressions of interest from developers, business owners, or others who have a compelling and innovative vision for an adaptive reuse of the historic building. Key considerations include:
• Completeness of the proposal relative to RFEI requirements
• Demonstrated experience of the proposer for proposed building use
• Ability to meet the needs of the City of Grants Pass
• Proposer references
The City intends to enter into an exclusive negotiating agreement with the selected team, providing for a defined time period during which the parties will attempt to negotiate the deal terms for the transaction.
