General Security Services RFP

The County of San Mateo is seeking a qualified security firm to provide general security services to various County facilities, including hospitals, clinics, offices, court buildings, and more. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing security personnel, geolocation tracking software, employee training, and other security-related services. The contract will have a term of three years, with two optional one-year extensions. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Providing security personnel who can provide a variety of security services • Maintaining well-trained security guards and providing technology for efficient recording of patrol routes and staffing reports • Providing employee training and ensuring that security personnel are trained in accordance with California regulations • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records and submitting quarterly training compliance reports • Ensuring that security personnel are appropriately trained and equipped to provide high-quality security services The County is looking for a contractor that can provide a wide range of security services, including general patrol, professional customer service, visual safety and security checks, response to alarms and emergencies, and more. The contractor must also be able to provide flexibility in their selection of security personnel and be able to customize their services to meet the needs of different County departments.
