Description
The US Government Publishing Office is seeking quotations for the production of 4 coil bind books. The books must be printed in four-color process, with a minimum of 150 line screen and a resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi x 1 bit or 600 x 600 dpi x 8 bit depth technology. The contractor must provide a W-9 form before payment and must report any problems submitting quotes via Quick Quote prior to bid opening time. The contractor will receive a PDF file with the purchase order or uploaded to their FTP site and must perform a basic check of the furnished media and publishing files to assure correct output of the required reproduction image.
Key requirements include:
• Printing 4 coil bind books with covers 1 and 2 printed, and covers 3 and 4 blank
• Text printed in four-color process, no bleeds, and page 1 of 4 printed double-sided, head-to-head
• Binding with a black plastic coil of a suitable diameter, with the book laying flat when opened
• Punching and binding without invading text
• Delivering the completed books to METC IMD, ATTN: Print Services, by 12/19/2025
• Providing a notice of shipment/delivery via email to [email protected] and [email protected]
• Reporting information regarding each order for compliance reporting purposes
