The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Recruiting Facilities Program is soliciting offers for approximately 1,140 usable sq ft of commercial office/retail space within a ¼‑mile radius of 7970 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70809. The lease must provide a secondary egress, parking for three government‑owned vehicles 24/7, additional visitor parking, daytime janitorial services, and prominent signage. Sites adjacent to certain “non‑compatible” businesses (e.g., adult entertainment, liquor stores, marijuana dispensaries, gun shops) may be eliminated. Prospective lessors must be active in SAM.gov, submit a completed Rental Proposal Worksheet, proof of SAM registration (active CAGE code), and an existing floor plan. The lease term is five years with a termination clause allowing the Government to end the lease with reasonable notice.
