Description
The Department of Health, Division of Public Health, is seeking a contractor to revise the State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP) to align with Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) guidance. The contractor will facilitate a structured review and update process, engaging workgroups of subject matter experts to assess progress toward existing SHIP priorities and inform refinements to evidence-based strategies. The contractor will also provide strategic recommendations for creating and sustaining engagement of these workgroups.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Facilitating a review and update process for the SHIP
• Engaging workgroups of subject matter experts
• Providing strategic recommendations for workgroup engagement
• Coordinating workgroups, including scheduling, setting the agenda, taking notes, and tracking progress
• Meeting monthly with the Healthy Alaskans Core Team to provide updates on workgroup progress
• Producing a final, clear, and accessible process for public release and ongoing implementation
