Fiscal Year 2024 Intercity Bus Security Grant Program

The Fiscal Year 2024 Intercity Bus Security Grant Program (IBSGP) provides funds to intercity bus companies to protect critical surface transportation infrastructure and the traveling public from acts of terrorism. The program supports the goal to Strengthen Preparedness and Resilience, one of the five basic homeland security missions. Eligible applicants include private operators providing intercity over-the-road bus transportation that have completed a vulnerability assessment and developed a security plan approved by the Secretary of Homeland Security. Key priorities for FY 2024 include enhancing cybersecurity and enhancing the protection of soft targets/crowded places.
