Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking bids for the procurement and installation of a 30-ton HVAC package unit at the Gist Unit. The package should include installation, start-up, and training. The bidder is responsible for offloading equipment at the delivery site, disconnecting and removing the existing unit, and providing a new unit per the manufacturer's recommendations. The bidder must also provide training to 4 onsite employees for up to 4 hours.
• The HVAC unit package must meet the manufacturer's standard warranty.
• The bidder must provide a payment bond in the amount of the bid for the sole protection of those supplying labor, materials, and/or equipment.
• The bidder must comply with all terms and conditions, including security procedures and insurance requirements.
• The bidder must provide an adequate plan of insurance that protects the TDCJ against all claims arising from service performed by the vendor.
