This opportunity is a two‑year, not‑to‑exceed supply contract for organic, heat‑treated, weed‑free wood chips and mulch to support Valley Water’s vegetation management program. The contractor must maintain on‑hand inventory, deliver within five business days of order, and meet strict material specifications (¼‑1 in. particle size, ≥ 140 °F internal temperature, no live seeds or allopathic chemicals). The contract also includes a 5 % price preference for qualified local businesses and requires annual performance reporting, warranty coverage, and compliance with environmental and hazardous‑waste regulations. • Supply up to 400 cy of mulch and 400 cy of wood chips (total 800 cy) on an as‑needed basis. • Deliver to Valley Water Winfield Yard (San Jose) and Camden Yard within normal business hours; emergency deliveries must be shipped within 48 hours of request. • Provide full shipment documentation, accept returns/damages within 30 days, and support acceptance testing within five business days of delivery.
