2026 Watermain Improvements

The City of Edina is seeking contractors to perform extensive water‑main rehabilitation throughout the city. The scope includes removal of existing water‑main pipe, installation of new HDPE pipe, replacement of gate valves, hydrants, and various related components, as well as associated site work such as curbing, drainage structures, and paving. • Remove approximately 100 LF of existing water‑main pipe. • Install 1,800 LF of 6‑inch HDPE water‑main (both HDD and open‑cut methods). • Replace 6 gate valves and 2 fire hydrants, plus new service connections. • Perform ancillary work: concrete curbs, drainage structures, storm pipe, bituminous paving, and topsoil/turf restoration.
