4th Street Drainage Improvements Project IFB24-032 INVITATION FOR BIDThis is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for:This is an invitation to submit a bid to Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the continuation of the installation of a storm drain system along the north edge of Fourth Street beginning at Community Action Drive and continuing 1,130 feet east toward Dolphin Street as indicated herein. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and products for the installation of a drainage system along Fourth Street that is currently a open ditch. The work will contain, but is not limited to, traffic control, clearing and grubbing, borrow, grading, dewatering, storm drain installation, potential water and sewer relocations, base/paving, and erosion control.Sealed bids will be accepted and time stamped electronically via the County's e-procurement Portal ("Portal") until 1:30 pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. At 2:00 PM the bids will be opened in conference room 224 located on the second floor of the Harold Pate Building 1725 Reynolds Street Brunswick, GA 31520. Additionally, the bid opening will be streamed live on the County's Youtube channel. Instructions for preparation and submission of a bid-proposal are contained in this packet. Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted for this invitation must include the "Bidders Response Schedule" and be returned online via the Portal. Bids may not be considered unless so received.There will be a Non-Mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 9:00 am at Administrative Conference Room #216 Harold Pate Building 1725 Reynolds Street Brunswick, GA 31520. Any questions and /or misunderstandings that may arise from this invitation shall be submitted in writing via the e-Procurement Portal no later than Friday, March 22, 2024. All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted to the website no later than Friday, March 29, 2024. All questions are required to be submitted in written form. Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this invitation for bid will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum. Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and promulgated in an addendum. All contact concerning this solicitation shall be made through the Procurement Officer.
