Texas Southern University (TSU) Library Learning Center Study Rooms Renovation

Texas Southern University is seeking professional architectural and engineering services for the expansion and renovation of study rooms within the TSU Learning Center. The project includes design and construction of new individual and collaborative study rooms on the third and fourth floors of the facility, as well as architectural, interior design, furniture coordination, audiovisual/information technology, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and construction administration services. The selected consultant will provide all professional services necessary to complete the project. • The project aims to improve student learning spaces and increase the availability of private and collaborative study rooms. • The consultant will provide complete architectural services, including existing conditions verification, demolition plans, floor plan modifications, and construction documents. • The project includes interior design and furniture coordination, as well as audiovisual and information technology design. • The consultant will provide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services, including HVAC modifications, electrical power distribution, and fire protection coordination. • The project requires construction administration services, including construction observation, review of contractor submittals, and punch list inspections.
