Description
The Maryland State Highway Administration is seeking a contractor to provide electrical services, including repairs, installation, maintenance, and emergency response, at their headquarters located at 707 N Calvert St and 211 E Madison St, Baltimore, MD 21202. The contractor will be required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial electrical industry, a current and active State of Maryland Master Electrician License, and a minimum workforce of 2 State of Maryland licensed commercial journeyman electricians. The contract will be for a period of 6 months, and the contractor will be required to provide hourly rates for labor, parts, and materials.
• The contractor will be responsible for performing electrical services, including repairs, installation, and maintenance, as well as emergency response and possible design services.
• The contractor will be required to provide a detailed service report daily, including the date, location, arrival time, departure time, name of qualified electrical technician(s) performing the work, and a brief description of services performed or to be performed.
• The contractor will be required to maintain a stocked service truck with materials, tools, and equipment to provide electrical services.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to worker's compensation, liability insurance, and environmental protection.
• The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance, including worker's compensation, liability insurance, and automobile insurance.
• The contractor will be required to provide a current W9, including the business name, mailing address, federal identification, and remit to address if different from the mailing address.
