Description
The City of Itta Bena is seeking bids for Sewer System Improvements (MCWI Project No. 617-2-CW-5.5). The project is being funded in part by a Mississippi Municipality and County Water Infrastructure Grant Program Act (MCWI) and is subject to the rules and regulations thereof. The successful bidder must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, which requires that all laborers and mechanics shall be paid at rates not less than those determined by the Department of Labor to be the prevailing for the locality in which the project is located.
• The contract documents can be examined at several locations, including Willis Engineering, Inc. and Plan House Printing offices.
• Minority and woman-owned business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities.
