Mulching Head for Kubota Excavator - WWTP

The City of Columbia is seeking a mulching head for a Kubota KX080-5R3A Excavator for the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The mulching head should be a factory new, current year model, constructed of high-quality materials, and meet specific technical requirements. The contractor shall understand and agree that the mulching head shall be installed exclusively by City staff. The proposal should include firm, fixed pricing for the purchase of one mulching head, as well as information about the offeror's organization, experience, and expertise. • The mulching head should have a cutting width of 51 inches and an overall width of 66.25 inches. • The mulching head should have a diameter rotor of 13.5 inches and a maximum weight without mount of 1218 pounds. • The mulching head should have 32 carbide teeth and a hydraulic horsepower of 15 to 35.9 GPM. • The mulching head should have depth gauges on the cutting head and a two-stage cutting chamber. • The mulching head should have a rotor speed of 1700 to 2300 RPM and a spade hook. • The mulching head should have steel deflector chains and a mounting plate that can be successfully installed on a Kubota KX080-5R3A Excavator.
