Furnish and Install S2 Access Control Barrier Arm Gates

Craven Community College is seeking bids for the furnishing and installation of S2 Access Control Barrier Arm Gates at its New Bern campus. The college is looking for a vendor to provide and install two barrier arm gates with 20’ lighted arms, two 42” pedestals for card readers, an access controller, and card readers. The vendor will also be responsible for connecting the barrier arm gates to the access control panels and providing conduit in the ground when necessary. The college will provide the S2 licenses and will be responsible for programming and testing the system with its IT staff. The vendor will be required to provide a warranty for the equipment and to provide contact information for warranty service. The college is encouraging small, minority, physically handicapped, and women contractors to participate in the bidding process. • The contract will be awarded to the vendor that offers the lowest price that meets the specifications. • The vendor will be required to provide a certification of financial condition. • The vendor will be required to provide references. • The vendor will be required to provide descriptive literature and certifications for the equipment. • The vendor will be responsible for delivering and installing the equipment. • The vendor will be responsible for providing warranty service for the equipment.
