The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from capable parties to provide Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) services at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. The contract will be for a 5-year period with four 1-year option periods. The contractor's personnel will be required to perform on-site nurse anesthesia services, subject to quality assurance standards established by the Joint Commission and in accordance with VA policy, regulations, procedures, and protocol. The required services include: • Providing onsite anesthetic patient care • Performing in accordance with ethical, professional, and technical standards of the healthcare industry • Meeting the quality assurance standards established by the Joint Commission • Complying with VA policy, regulations, procedures, and protocol
