Description
The City of Garland is seeking a contractor to construct a 345kV transmission line from King Mountain to Grand Falls. The project includes the installation of steel structures, conductors, overhead shield wires, and grounding systems. The contractor will be responsible for performing all necessary work, including excavation, backfill, and site restoration. The project requires compliance with various codes and standards, including the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and the Rural Utility Service (RUS) Bulletin 202-1. The contractor must also submit various compliance submittals, including manufacturer's specifications, fabrication and erection drawings, and test reports.
