Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to award a sole source contract to Heiman Inc. for the procurement of a Type 6 Light Wildland Fire Engine for Sand Lake NWR. The contract will be a firm-fixed priced contract, and the work is expected to begin after the receipt of the delivery/purchase order. The engine must meet the DOI national standards, and Heiman Inc. has experience in building custom wildland fire engines for local fire departments, state, and federal partners.
