The Texas General Land Office (GLO) and Veterans Land Board (VLB) are issuing an emergency‑purchase RFP to award a contract for the full management and operation of the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple, Texas. The incumbent, STG International, Inc., will be replaced. The successful vendor must provide comprehensive nursing‑home services, including skilled nursing, Alzheimer’s/dementia care, medical, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, and all ancillary support functions for a 160‑bed facility. The contract will be funded through VA per‑diem subsidies and private‑room rates, with an overall contract value of approximately $16 million.
