Description
Shelby County Board of Education is seeking a qualified vendor to provide supplemental registered nurse (RN) and licensed practical nurse (LPN) staffing to support the health services needs of Shelby County Schools. The contract is a non‑exclusive, fixed‑price hourly arrangement for an anticipated three‑year term, with the possibility of two one‑year extensions. Vendors must supply nurses with pediatric and ventilator experience, maintain Tennessee licensure and certifications, pass background checks, and handle all documentation and invoicing per district guidelines. The district will pay set hourly rates ($34/LPN, $46.50/RN) and requires weekly invoicing, insurance coverage, and compliance with E‑Verify and fingerprinting requirements.
• Provide on‑call, per‑diem RN/LPN coverage for student health needs across all district schools (≈ 25 nurses/day, variable).
• Nurses must possess pediatric ventilator experience, hold valid TN licenses, and be able to travel between schools without mileage reimbursement.
• Contractor responsible for background checks, badge issuance, weekly timesheets, and adherence to insurance minimums; payment is on a 30‑day net basis.
