Description
The US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources office intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Innovasea for proprietary fish tracking equipment compatible with current equipment and programs used by USFWS. The equipment will be used to expand acoustic telemetry work in field operations, assisting fisheries managers in describing movement patterns and habitat requirements for species of interest. This will result in improved sampling protocols and targeted rehabilitative actions.
• The contract will be for a firm fixed price.
• The equipment must be compatible with existing equipment and programs used by USFWS.
• Innovasea is the only company that supplies acoustic receivers/tags to all other agencies/projects participating in the Great Lakes Acoustic Telemetry Observation System (GLATOS).
• The contract will utilize Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000.
