93% Sulfuric Acid

The El Paso Water Public Service Board is soliciting proposals for the supply of 93% Sulfuric Acid for use in drinking water treatment. The acid will be used in the CERRO process, part of the drinking water desalination process. The supplier will be responsible for delivering the acid to various EPWater locations, typically twice a month, and for unloading and placing it in 1,000-gallon fiberglass bulk storage tanks. The contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria of experience, cost, and responsibility and reliability. • The supplier must have sufficient experience in delivering Sulfuric Acid, 93%. • The cost proposal will be evaluated based on the lowest total amount submitted. • The supplier must demonstrate responsibility and reliability in fulfilling the scope of work.
