Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking technical training for the repair of dental handpieces in support of dental services. The training should be an onsite 8-day program that teaches biomedical staff the core fundamentals, preventative maintenance, component level troubleshooting, and repair of dental handpieces. The contractor will deliver the training to 2 biomedical equipment support specialists. The training should include hands-on practice and cover topics such as troubleshooting, bearing replacement, turbine replacement, cleaning/lubrication, and repair. The contractor should also provide an electric repair tool set, a pneumatic repair tool set, an electric repair parts inventory, and a pneumatic repair parts inventory.
