Description
The City of Siloam Springs is seeking a haying lease for an approximate 34.31-acre site located on Fisher Ford Road. The successful proposer will be able to hay the site and remove the cut and baled hay within two weeks of baling, weather permitting. The initial term of this proposal is for the 2026 hay baling season, with the option to extend for up to three additional years. The proposer must provide proof of insurance and indemnify the City against any claims or damages.
• The site has been hayed in the recent past and the City intends to maintain this agricultural use.
• The proposer must submit a dollar value for the annual rent to the City, with a minimum season rent of $500.
• The proposer must demonstrate their ability to cut, bale, and remove hay in a timely manner.
• The proposer must provide a statement of their ability to farm the property, including equipment available for haying operations.
• The proposer must provide proof of insurance, including comprehensive general liability insurance.
