Annual Wellfield Maintenance Services

The City of Hollywood, Florida is seeking bids from qualified and experienced firms to provide Annual Wellfield Maintenance Services, including emergency repair services for 22 wells. The work shall include furnishing all labor, transportation, tools, equipment, fuel, and all other incidentals required to provide services as specified. The services include monthly monitoring/testing of each well, submission of reports, and testing for water flow production, well pumping pressure, and well drawdowns. The contractor must have been regularly engaged in the work specified for five years, have personnel trained in OSHA Safety and Chemical Handling, and have an experienced water well driller and corrosion expert. • The contract term shall commence upon date of award by the City for a two-year term. • The City reserves the right to renew the contract for three additional one-year terms. • The contractor must maintain insurance, including general liability, commercial vehicle liability, and workers' compensation. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local safety and health regulations. • The City may terminate the contract if the contractor becomes involved in a bankruptcy proceeding or fails to make prompt payments to subproposers or suppliers.
