Description
The West Virginia Department of Agriculture is seeking a vendor to provide a 2025 or newer Class 8 Day Cab with a minimum 24-foot insulated box and a refrigeration unit. The truck must meet specific requirements, including a Cummins ISx 15 engine or a Detroit DD15 engine, a minimum of 13-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, and a Thermo-King T-690 Model or equal refrigeration unit. The contract will be awarded to the vendor that provides the required specifications for the lowest overall total cost.
• The contract is for a one-time purchase of a single truck.
• The truck must be delivered within 45 working days after receiving a purchase order or notice to proceed.
• The vendor must provide a 12-month full coverage warranty for the refrigeration unit and lift gate.
• The contract includes provisions for late delivery, return of unacceptable items, and vendor default.
