Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Allied Systems Company for the replacement of a boom assembly and hydraulic cylinder for the work boat davit installed on the NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson. The current davit arm is designed for a boat without a cabin, but the new work boat has a cabin, requiring an upgraded davit arm. The upgraded davit arm and hydraulic cylinder will be installed during the Oscar Dyson's Mid-life repair.
