Meal Delivery Services for the Homelessness Strategies and Solutions Department (HSSD)

The City of San Diego is seeking a contractor to provide meal delivery services for the Homelessness Strategies and Solutions Department (HSSD). The contractor will be responsible for preparing and delivering balanced nutritional meals to participants in the program, following USDA nutritional guidelines and food safety protocols. The contract term is for one year, with four additional one-year options to renew. The contractor must provide two meals per day, seven days a week, 365 days per year, including holidays. • The contractor must have experience in meal preparation and delivery, and must be able to provide meals that meet the nutritional and food safety requirements of the program. • The contractor must be able to deliver meals to multiple locations in the City of San Diego. • The contractor must have a kitchen facility that meets the requirements of the program. • The contractor must be able to provide a sample menu and meal preparation and delivery plan as part of their proposal.
