NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE

The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) intends to issue a firm-fixed award to a single source, Elsevier B.V., for the renewal of an online subscription providing access to the ScienceDirect Online research platform. This platform provides the capability to search for peer-reviewed journals, articles, book chapters, and open access content. The subscription period is for the 2026 calendar year, with a one base year and four one-year option periods. • The ScienceDirect Online search platform delivers over 14 million publications from over 3,800 journals and more than 35,000 books from Elsevier, imprints, and society partners. • The platform combines authoritative, full-text scientific, technical, and health publications with smart, intuitive functionality. • The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 513120 - Periodical Publishers. • Any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by January 6, 2025.
