Employee Engagement Study

Lancaster County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to assist with the design and implementation of a comprehensive employee engagement survey for all County employees. The successful vendor will furnish detailed survey results and recommendations grounded in best practice and supported by industry data/trends. The purpose of the survey is to measure employee engagement, attitudes, perceptions, and commitment level towards the County, leadership, their roles, and the constituents they serve. Key responsibilities of the selected firm include: • Meeting with the Human Resource Department Director and staff to discuss the goals of the project • Developing a mutually agreeable project management plan • Developing a clear communication plan • Developing a survey and design parameters • Implementing and hosting an electronic survey • Providing data in an easily accessible format • Recommending practices in employee engagement • Providing post-survey support The County has approximately 752 full-time and 492 part-time positions with 50 departments, serving a population of approximately 111,000 residents.
