Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to replace the existing cooling‑tower enclosure at Kent State University’s Stark Campus central chiller plant. The work includes demolition of existing towers, supply and installation of a new three‑cell stainless‑steel cooling tower system, associated mechanical piping, valves, VFDs, electrical distribution, and structural steel framing, as well as testing, commissioning, and close‑out documentation. The project is funded for a general‑contract estimate of $840,000 and must comply with Ohio prevailing‑wage, domestic‑steel, EDGE diversity, and SUPR program requirements.
