Re-Issue Design Services for Goodnight Ranch Community Park

The City of Killeen is seeking a qualified design services firm to provide planning and design services for the development of Goodnight Ranch Community Park. The selected firm will be responsible for evaluating the site, developing a conceptual master plan, and providing design services for the first phase of improvements. The firm must demonstrate experience in parkland development, floodplain management, and community engagement. Key services include preliminary investigations, site assessments, floodplain analysis, design services, permitting support, and construction administration. • The project involves the development of a 38.5-acre parkland dedication area, which will include a greenway trail system, multi-use athletic fields, playground, and other park amenities. • The site is located in a floodplain, and the selected firm must prioritize locating improvements outside the floodplain or in areas that minimize floodplain impacts. • The firm must demonstrate experience in working with regulatory agencies and complying with local, state, and federal regulations. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to modify the scope of work during contract negotiations.
