SCSD Porter Elementary School Masonry Restoration Project

The City of Syracuse is seeking bids for the SCSD Porter Elementary School Masonry Restoration Project. The project involves masonry restoration, including brick repointing, brick replacement, stone repair, and stone replacement. The contractor will be responsible for mobilization and demobilization, temporary fencing and site control measures, repointing of brick/stone masonry joints, replacing damaged brick and stone, repairing and patching concrete wall areas, and final site cleanup. The project must be completed within 90 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must have experience in similar masonry restoration projects. • The contractor must provide a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the total bid amount. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and workers' compensation. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Syracuse Fair Employment and Licensure Ordinance and the Syracuse Resident Employment Ordinance. • The contractor must provide a detailed breakdown of the costs and a project schedule. • The contractor must ensure that all work is done in accordance with the contract documents and specifications.
