ANTONGIOVANNI PARK GRADING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

The City of Bakersfield is seeking a qualified contractor to perform grading and earth‑work improvements at Antongiovanni Park. The scope includes environmental training, storm‑water pollution prevention planning, clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment, soil stabilization, dust control, final site cleanup, and related surveying and utility coordination. The work must comply with NPDES, local dust‑control, and seismic design requirements and be completed within 45 working days after notice to proceed. • Environmental compliance: SWPPP, NPDES NOI, dust‑control plan, and required training. • Earth‑work: ~7,266 CY excavation, ~5,760 CY embankment, soil compaction to 90 % MD, and surface stabilization with acrylic polymer. • Additional duties: construction staking, conformance surveying, utility locating, traffic control, and final cleanup of sidewalks, curbs, and adjacent streets.
