Description
The State of Alaska’s Department of Military and Veterans’ Affairs (DMVA) is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the roof membrane, siding, exterior doors and windows on Hangar 4 (Building 47431) at Bryant Army Airfield, Joint Base Elmendorf‑Richardson. The scope includes complete demolition of existing EPDM roofing, removal of envelope components, installation of new roofing system (minimum 60‑mil EPDM), vapor barrier, insulation, fiberboard substrate, and new siding, doors, and windows that meet current UFC and building code requirements. The contractor must provide all design drawings, permits, labor, equipment, materials, disposal, safety and environmental compliance (including asbestos and hazardous waste handling), and a minimum two‑year warranty. Work must be completed by September 15, 2026, with a mandatory pre‑bid walk‑through on August 25, 2026. Bids are due September 8, 2026, 1:00 pm AK time. The contract will be a lump‑sum award with 100 % performance and payment bonds.
