Description
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is seeking innovative technology solutions through a structured Test & Learn Research & Development (R&D) program. The program includes Advanced Autonomous Vehicle Operations, Smart Connected Infrastructure, and related Safety Technologies for the Pilot deployment of Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) in support of the Ultimate Urban Circulator (U²C) Project in the Jacksonville urban core. Proposers must demonstrate compliance with minimum requirements, including being in good standing and authorized to transact business in the State of Florida. The contract term is for one year with four one-year options to renew.
• The JTA is seeking a firm-fixed price contract with economic adjustment.
• The contract includes a best-value competitive source selection.
• Proposers must submit a proposal that includes a copy of their State of Florida Certificate of Status or Good Standing and all necessary licenses, registrations, or certifications.
• The JTA encourages participation by all firms qualifying under this solicitation, regardless of business size or ownership.
• The JTA has a goal of achieving 30% small business participation on all its contracts.
