Shelf Rock Crushing

The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to process approximately 40,000 cubic yards of excavated shelf rock collected during the ongoing cell construction at the St. Joseph Sanitary Landfill. The project involves either on-site crushing or off-site removal of the shelf rock. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, machinery, and supervision to perform the work, which includes mobilization, crushing and processing, hauling and transport, stockpiling, dust control, and site cleanup. The project must be completed within 90 days of contract award. • The contractor must have experience with similar on-site rock crushing or large-scale hauling projects. • The contractor must provide a detailed summary of their experience, references, methodology, and unit pricing. • The contractor must adhere to all local, state, and federal regulatory standards and ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations. • The contractor must obtain and maintain all required operational permits, including air quality and equipment relocation permits. • The contractor must provide insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and pollution liability.
