Description
The City of Norwalk is requesting quotes from qualified and experienced contractors to perform annual Tile Cleaning and Grout Sealing services in City-owned restroom facilities. The selected contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to clean, restore, and seal grout and tile surfaces to maintain sanitary, safe, and visually appealing conditions. The scope of work includes deep cleaning and restoration of tile and grout surfaces, removal of stains, mold, mildew, and mineral buildup, re-grouting and color sealing as needed, and application of protective sealants.
• The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work.
• The contractor shall provide project estimates, product recommendations, and preventive maintenance guidance to assist the City with long-term planning and budgeting.
• The contractor shall respond to service requests promptly and schedule work within ten business days of approval of quotation.
• The contractor shall ensure all areas are left clean, safe, and fully accessible for public use upon completion.
• The term of the contract will be from the start date to June 30, 2026, with two one-year options to renew at the City’s sole discretion.
