AFRL/RQQ Epilog Fusion CNC CO2 Laser or Equal

The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is seeking a vendor to provide one Epilog Fusion Ascent 36 CO2 Laser or equal. The laser will be used to support the RQQ laboratory's power and thermal research mission by enabling the rapid fabrication of custom components from dense materials. The required characteristics of the laser include a minimum of 80W of power, a minimum of 24”x36” cut area, and the capability to be de-rated to Class I or Class II laser through use of interlocks. The laser must also be capable of fully offline, air-gapped operation without internet connectivity and have support services available. The vendor must be a fully American-owned and operated company to ensure a secure domestic supply chain. • The laser must deliver a minimum of 80W of power • The laser must have a minimum of 24”x36” cut area • The laser must be capable of being de-rated to Class I or Class II laser through use of interlocks • The laser must be capable of fully offline, air-gapped operation without internet connectivity • The laser must have support services available • The vendor must be a fully American-owned and operated company
