Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), is seeking to award a contract for preventative maintenance and support for microscopes at the NICHD-MIC facility. The contract will be awarded to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC, without providing for full and open competition. The purpose of this acquisition is to renew the service agreement for Carl Zeiss microscope(s) to ensure continued operation, reliability, and performance. The service agreement includes proactive maintenance, on-site service visits, and technical support by factory-trained engineers.
• The period of performance is from April 29, 2026, to April 28, 2027.
• The contract will provide cost predictability and ensure access to genuine replacement parts, technician support, and technical resources during the agreement period.
• Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this notice, but the Government may proceed on a non-competitive basis or conduct a competitive procurement.
