Range Unit 8 Northstar Fencing Contract

The Colville Confederated Tribes are seeking bids for the repair and replacement of approximately 1.25 miles of fencing and gates to stock tight conditions. The contractor will need to replace all four wires and the top and bottom wires with barbless wire, replace all wooden posts with metal t-posts, and install wooden H-braces. All work will comply with the CCT Wildlife Friendly fencing specifications. The contract is expected to be completed by June 30th, 2026. Key points to consider: • The contractor will need to inspect the entire fence from the start point to the end point and include slope and topography in their bid. • The contractor will need to comply with the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) and obtain any necessary permits and documentation. • The contractor will need to provide a detailed work plan and schedule, including the number of employees and estimated days till project completion. • The contractor will need to ensure that all work is done in accordance with proper safety procedures and presents a good appearance. • The contractor will need to clear a path for the fence as necessary, remove all snags with the potential to fall onto the fence, and clean up and remove all wire, T-posts, and other materials from the project site.
