The County of Fairfax is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive psychological evaluation and testing services for its Police Department, Fire and Rescue, and Sheriff’s Office. Services include assessments for applicants and incumbent personnel across a wide range of public‑safety positions, as well as specialized testing for tactical and special‑operations units. The contract will be awarded through competitive negotiation and is intended to be a term arrangement covering multiple agencies within Fairfax County. • Conduct psychological assessments for new hires (police officers, firefighters, deputy sheriffs, emergency communications staff, etc.) • Perform evaluations for current employees seeking promotion, transfer, certification, or retention in specialized units • Deliver specialized testing for tactical teams and special‑operations assignments as required by the County or individual agencies • Provide ongoing consulting and reporting to support selection and placement decisions across all participating public‑safety entities
