Wellington Highway 160 Waterline - Wellington, KS

The City of Wellington is seeking bids for the replacement of its existing 4‑inch waterline beneath US Highway 160. The scope includes directional drilling and installation of two new parallel waterlines – approximately 715 ft of 6‑inch pipe on the northern alignment and 717 ft of 2‑inch pipe on the southern alignment – as well as removal and replacement of fire hydrants and reconnection of existing services. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder and the work will be performed under the supervision of the engineering firm Professional Engineering Consultants, PA. • Replace existing 4‑inch waterline under US‑160 with two new pipelines (6‑in and 2‑in). • Directional drilling required for installation of ~1,432 ft of pipe total. • Includes fire hydrant removal/replacement and service reconnections.
