The Municipal Excess Liability Joint Insurance Fund is seeking a qualified firm to perform internal auditing services focused on insurance operations and coverage reviews. The selected firm will assess underwriting practices, policy documentation, risk financing structures, and compliance with applicable statutes and regulations governing joint insurance funds. The contract duration is 3 years. Key responsibilities include evaluating operational efficiency, transparency, and insurance program accountability. • The selected firm will provide independent evaluations to enhance operational efficiency and transparency. • The firm will assess underwriting practices, policy documentation, and risk financing structures. • The firm will ensure compliance with applicable statutes and regulations governing joint insurance funds. • The firm will provide recommendations for improvement and identify areas for increased efficiency. • The firm will submit reports and findings to the Fund.
